Researchers from Deakin University attended a 3-day training on the new Bruker UMT tribometer. The new instrument is a very flexible platform to assess the mechanical and tribological properties of materials. Moreover, the programming capability will allow researchers to run multiple tests on one sample or on multiple samples, which makes this instrument a good complement for our alloy development program.
